I'd like to Introduce you to the 5thScaleCanada Pinion Plate!
As you all know, the Pinions for the HPI Baja are not engraved with a tooth count and we've all had to fish through our tool boxes for a Pinion to change gear ratios. Well after watching one of the local guys dig for a pinion, count teeth and not come out with the right pinion; he had to dig again and count more teeth! If you've been there... You know how annoying it can get!
Well the day has come! You no longer have to mess around, you can change your gear ratio quickly and get back to running your Baja!!
The 5thScaleCanada Pinion Plate is engraved with tooth count numbers(16,17,18,19 & 20) under each mount. You can bolt on your pinions in the right place and never count teeth again!! The plate is compatible with stock HPI Pinions, as well as all the Aftermarket (TR,DS,RC4WD,etc..) Pinions too!
The pinions are not included but Bolts are. They will be available through TGN as well as other fine Retailers within a few weeks! We're shipping them out to TGN Monday. The price has not been determined yet, TGN will post that up when they're ready to go.

- Steel Vented clutch bell
- Extracts clutch dust and any dirt that may enter your clutch system.
- We used a 7mm hex shaft and 6mm Locking nut to completely eliminates bolts that can break.
- Custom machined 17T hardened steel pinion gear.
- When pinion is taken off the bell cannot fall back into clutch covers out of reach which can cause incorrect installation of stock bell/pinion design.
- A solid shaft from the bell to the nut prevents any wobbling between the pinion and bell which is common with the stock design of keyed bell/pinion.
- You can check clutch wear without removing the clutch bell when used with an open carrier or a Vertigo vented clutch cover.
